Tops Shoes offers a FREE digital foot scan, an ultra-precise foot pressure platform that provides instant measurements of your feet.
Measurements are taken for both feet while standing (static analysis) and are individually recorded for the left and right foot, including:
Length
Width
Shoe size
This advanced analysis also allows you to view pressure points in real time and helps determine your foot type, ensuring a more accurate shoe fit and better overall comfort
The pressure points identify your foot type:

"A Brannock Device is the industry-standard tool used to accurately measure your foot size. It has been used by footwear professionals for nearly a century to determine the correct length, width, and arch length of your feet."
Unlike guessing your shoe size or measuring at home with a ruler, a Brannock measurement gives a precise, professional fit, which helps ensure comfort and proper foot support.
A Brannock fitting evaluates three important dimensions of your foot:
1. Heel-to-Toe Length
This determines your basic shoe size by measuring the distance from your heel to the tip of your longest toe.
2. Arch Length (Heel-to-Ball)
This measures the distance from your heel to the ball of your foot. It ensures that the flex point of the shoe matches the natural bend of your foot, which is essential for comfort and support.
3. Foot Width
The device measures how wide your foot is across the ball. Width sizing helps avoid tightness, pressure points, or sliding inside the shoe.
Widths may include:
Narrow
Standard
Wide
Extra wide
We recommend getting measured if:
You experience foot discomfort
Your shoes wear unevenly
You haven’t measured your feet in several years
You are buying high-quality or specialty footwear
You want the most accurate fit possible
Many people wear the wrong shoe size
without realizing it.
Proper measurement helps:
✔ Improve comfort
✔ Reduce foot fatigue
✔ Prevent blisters and pressure points
✔ Support healthy walking and posture
✔ Extend the life of your footwear
Even small differences in size or width can affect
how a shoe feels throughout the day.
